Welcome to my website
My name is Dawn Osborn and I'm a nature & wildlife photographer based in East Anglia.
I hold the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society (FRPS); EFIAP the Excellence level with Federation Internationale de l’Art Photographique (FIAP) for successes in Photographic Exhibitions both in the UK and overseas; Distinction with Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) and a BPE5* for acceptances numbering over 300 in UK exhibitions.
A longstanding member of the RPS Nature Group and its Committee, I was Chairman from 2001 to 2003 and Editor of its publication The Iris from 2003 to 2018. Currently I am Editor of Nature Group eNews which I started to work on in 2017.
I’ve had an interest in photography and nature since childhood so it should come as no surprise therefore that most of my subjects come from the natural world. However, I do occasionally venture into other categories too.
Amongst the Galleries you will find images from a variety of countries including the USA, Canada, The Galapagos Islands, The Falkland Islands, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Botswana and Tanzania, as well as here at home in the UK.
I lived in the USA for a number of years and it remains one of my favourite countries to visit. However, my No. 1 favourite place in the world is the Falkland Islands and I visit as often as I can. If you share a love of Penguins you will not be disappointed in the Penguin Galleries.
